Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Below, we have tried to answer a few of the most common questions regarding our Academy. In addition to the questions listed below we have posted our polices and tuition information. Please click the navigation buttons on the left to review those pages.

  • Is there a studio dress code?
We request students arrive and leave the studio in street clothes or use a simple "cover-up". This is more important as the weather gets colder - we don't want our dancers to cool off too rapidly leaving the warmth of the studio to cold evening air.
  • Are there any studio rules or behavior codes?
Again we have very basic requirements for everyone's safety and enjoyment: no running, yelling or acrobatics in the lobby and no gum chewing or smoking in the studio.
  • What is the proper attire for dance classes?
Our dance attire is very basic:
    - all students are required to wear appropriate dance shoes for the class (no bare feet),
    - girls and women are required to wear black leotards and pink tights in ballet classes; leotards and tights in all other classes,
    - boys and men are required to wear solid colored pants and shirts.
    - hair should be in a secure bun or braid, off the face.
  • Can I watch my child’s dance class?
Yes, parents are invited to watch their children dance during the last 15 minutes of the last class of every month.
